H-holy crap. Well, I suppose I can scrap posting 'blahblah not much going on' like I was going to the other day. Tornado hit town AGAIN- the second time this month- but this time doing a whole lot more damage. Our power was out from about 4pm yesterday until about 6 tonight and cell towers/internet are just now starting to function again. I'm sorry if I worried anyone yesterday, it was close to impossible to get a phone call in or out and I'm STILL getting backed up text messages.

Some freaking intense video of it hitting downtown.

We didn't take any damage where I live, thankfully, but I drove through town today (took 3 hours to get from one side to the other. Normally takes 15 minutes) and it was BAD in some parts. Bad bad. Got Josh out of Arcadia (one of the worst areas hit) and drove down the road where we lived just a few months ago. It's destroyed. Looks like N and J's house is fine though, a little roof damage so man, they apparently lucked out, especially considering their neighbors' house is crunched. We've heard from most everyone we know though and they've checked in fine, my sister included, who lives in my complex.

I took a couple of damage photos when I was in the car, but they're not half as good as these. Just...idek. Last death toll I'm hearing is at 36 for town.

Roomie Hunter's Starbucks took some bad damage and after the assessment meeting today in Midtown it sounds like it's going to be a few months before they're fully reopen. Everyone who was in the store though is okay and the Cup Fund is going to donate wages for a bit, so we're really thankful for that too.

Although I'm immensely flattered that I'm considered apparently to be an authority on a character/known for "doing it right"/whatever and despite that it does feel good to be recognized, I really don't appreciate being namedropped in the goddamn anonmeme as an example (or in this case I don't even know what) in the midst of other people's self-important wank and character bashing. Some of those people you're putting down are my friends, and I happen to like the way they play their characters. So please just...leave me the hell out of it. I don't like my name attached to things that I did not say, no matter what the context.

Also, as a general rule, don't link me this bullshit whether I'm mentioned or not good or bad. I just don't care.
